I just read an article about the wall of legends in R&C. I think it's a great idea!

  7. Thanks for sharing, the pics were great, but seeing how the hand turned out was amazing. the hand lines give it strenght and character.

    G***erlouie,

He eats at the same burgerstand everyday about 1:30-2:00 with a whole bunch of the old hot rod criminals from days past. If you ever come out this way let me know.

Years ago when I was still making the drive out to the LARS to display and sell my wares, I was starting to load out after the show on Sunday and I returned from putting something in the trailer and there in my chair sat the Cam Father with his cigar. I just stopped and for about 20 minutes we talked about the hotrod business. He told me how he liked the T-5 kit and the 348/409 WP kit and they were ideas that would take hold. His advise on business and his praise of my products will be in my memories forever.

Oh, how those old legends are almost always "nice guys"...they are just Hot Rod guys who made legend status, but came, for the most part, from humble beginnings and thankfully stayed that way...gotta love 'em and all their amazing contributions to our addiction...thanks for the post Piero.

The culver city shop was his 3rd or 4th shop not his original shop

He is a living legend.... I have a new in the box isky 404 flathead cam and lifters complete with original culver city br*** tag and 404a water slide decal and hopefully one day put it to good use

Great to see this stuff, we found his shop by accident in 2000 and had lunch with him at his favourite burger joint down the road with John Athens and Nick Arias Jr, back to the shop for a full tour and plenty of neat stories. He is a great guy!

  16. Thanks for the shop tour....... Ed seemed like he was having a great time.
