Pulled this out of dads field yesterday. I hope to start working on it soon. I have been told this is a 1931 Model A with a 1930 grill can anyone confirm this?

It appears to have two piece splash aprons whick would indicate '30.

The big trucks called AA's used a lot of leftover car parts when originally built, so there are early parts on later built trucks. THe stainless steel ragiator shell is a car item, and most likely added later in life. When the truck was new it had a painted steel shell. Most likely your truck is a 1930.
