HAMB Meet n Greet at VLV?

I've seen in the past there's been one....or at least a half-assed attempt at one

As it's my 1st time, whats the 'usual' meeting place & time? I'm assuming Saturday during the car show sometime?

Last year it was like 11am at the Car Show at the closest corner to the Gold Coast... The wife and I will be there Wed. evening so if anyone wants to hang out before Sat. PM me...

 

I wasn't there last year, but I do remember after the fact some people saying 11am was too early.

This will be my first time. I've never been to VLV, I've never been to Vegas period, and I don't know what sort of foolishness I'll be getting up to on Friday night, but I will go out on a limb and say that 11am Saturday will be too early.

I'll be there Thursday on, staying at the Orleans. Just look for the drunk Canadian with a stoopid grin on his face.

Well if there is a bunch of us there Thursday night we could meet at the Pub in the Orleans......a few drinks before the chaos.......and yes the 11am meet on Sat sux to damn early if you were partying he night before........
I'll be the shorter one in fedora or flaming eye fez...........

 

I think we're getting in like 8 am Thursday. Hitting Pink E's at 3 to get the madness started.

And a 11am Meet is way too early.

 

FUCK 11:am.. there I said it.. I say 5:00pm and HELL YEAH ON THE NAME TAGS!

We should be rollin' in on late Thursday eve., and Yea 11 am just seems to fucking early.

 

I'd thought about making up a cheezy t-shirt that says " I'm "AHotRod" on the H.A.M.B. ...... Jennifer and I get there Thursday around Noon ......

 

Yeah we will be hittin' Pink E's. A good friend from up here is putting on the "Hooch and Smootch"

 

I plan on doing just that...and posting pics each night (since I don't drink)

 

We arrive Thursday 12 noon... Hitting Pink E's too, gotta catch Hopped Up!! before they break up....I'll be the drunk Brit, with the Johnny Bravo tattoo (like the avatar) talking to their Brit drummer...then back to The Gold Coast for Big Sandy on Thursday night


11am Saturday...yeah, seem's VERY early......How does 1.30pm on Saturday in the corner nearest the Gold Coast sound?

So if there is a meet n greet on Thurs that is great.... BUT what about the working crew? How about on Sat afternoon in the corner of the carshow? Well that is my 2 cents and I like the nametag thing also!

I know I will be in the garage on thurs trying to get my truck started anyway... haha

Pink E's is right next to The Gold Coast, the Pre VLV Party (can't remember the official name...Gracie...HELP!!) is on there from 3pm-8pm on Thursday..It's FREE.

I believe there are a total of 8 bands playing.

Hopped Up!! from santa Rosa...they are GREAT (and this is gonna be one of their final shows)

Lil' Bit & the Customatics from Texas who played near here Friday night, they were GREAT...plus a lot more whose names escape me.
