Welcome from Riverside, Iowa Got lots of family and spent lots of time in Monty over the years. You aren't by chance the guy on 38 north about 1/2 way to sand springs with the 64 that is under tarps? One of my cousins in Darrell of Darrells and another cousin lives north on 38 with all of the cars on the west side of the road (just a little south of the 64 under the tarps). Carmak Riverside, Iowa
Hi and thanks everyone for the welcome , and yes carmak i am the guy on 38 north with the 64"s under tarps . I also know the guy on the west side of the road down from me ( russ) at least i think thats who you are talking about . I also have a 61 convertible impala i"m building for a friend of mine . Was a basket case he bought from out east but it"s coming along well so far , it"s on hold for awhile he just had a baby . I will get some pics rounded up soon and get some posted . Thanks
Low 64, Russ' wife is my cousin. I bought my first car (a 62 T-bird) from Russ. I have a friend near Solon clearing a farm and there is a 64 Impala front clip (and possibly some other pieces) you could pick up for s**** value if you would be interested. Carmak
carmak, yea i"d be interested in checking that 64 impala stuff out and see what all there is . Do you know what shape the front clip is in ? I'll have to give you my number or get you're number and see when's best to take a look . Thanks
