I grew up in Californa where I first became interested in Customs & Street Rods. In my late teens I moved back to my hometown of Bellingham, Washington. There I was part of the drag racing bunch. I was transferred to Lewiston, ID in May of 1960 because of my job. I liked the area so much I never left. I belonged to International Show Car Ass'n from 1980 through 1990 snd showed various of my cars fron 1985 through 1989 and finished in the Top 30 each of those years. I had been a jeweler since 1959 and opened my own store "Jack of diamonds Jewelers" in the mid-80's and that is when I stopped showing cars. In 1964 I married my wife, Shirley Jo.

Welcome from another newbie! My business is located in Bellingham. Bet it is different than when you lived there, though! For sure, all the cool drive-ins where we used to cruise to and from are long gone. John
