Got a PM yesterday,,,Is that your truck on the cover?

HRP, I never bashed Coker!!! I lurked on this site for 2 plus years before I signed on as a FNG. I have read many a post where sueing was mentioned, even when permission was given. If what I posted was taken wrong, I am sorry.

Very cool truck & it desevres to be acknowledged.

Drew,,,Late Saturday afternoon at the NSRA Nats South in Knoxville,Tenn. last year.

As we were leaving the show I spotted another 32 pickup and stopped to talk with the man that owned it,while he and I were taking photos of the trucks side by side my wife was approached by a photographer,,HenryJGuy here on the Hamb and ask could he take some photos,,she said sure but he wanted us to move the truck to a different location,,



I question the motive and that's when he told me he was taking pictures for Coker and explained everything in detail,,he is also a Hamber.

The photo was taken on the other side of the grounds,,through the tunnel. HRP

HRP--I'm glad you like how the cover turned out! I shot about 20 cars for Coker in 2010, along with a bunch of Corky's personal cars, but that shot of your truck stood out as a favorite for pretty much everyone at the office. BTW, your name is in the cover credits, which is on Page 5 in the upper left. Thanks again for your time that day--the conditions were good and it made for a great looking cover!

As for the one guy's argument that there should be compensation (I see that it is now resolved, but I just to contribute), I'm sorry you were left out of the loop in terms of the photo release. It's a shame you spent all that time complaining about a moot point, but that's ok. Have a good one.

A friend of mine wanted a Universal Tire catalog from Carlisle car show, I never looked inside, when I gave it to him he asked me why I didn't tell him my car was inside, sure enough it was. I questioned them at Hershey, seems that when it was in another mag I signed a release, the mag went under and the guy that shot the car now works for Coker,small world.
