Took the long drive all in one shot to L.A. with 59 rancharo and merc 1960 and what a sweet time we had. spent all day Sat walking the grounds the cars were unreal and the women made this old heart jump. What I did find disapointing was by 1100 on Sat there was no T-shirts bigger then large there for this years show there was also know paper show guides ? I wore my N.W. HAMBERS shirt and didint see one member anywhere I was hopeing to meet some of you there I did meet a nice man and his wife from Ks at our hotel. we also did the Peterson show and the best ten bucks spent on Sunday. I also have to say that Los Angles is a very clean ( what I seen ) town and the people were very nice and did not jack the price of anything up for the folks attending the show in all a very sweet weekend. I got to see Clark Gables and Carol Lombards personal car that was a high for me.
Re: L.A. roadster show I think you meant the Grand National Roadster Show - the L.A. Roadster show is in June, Father's Day, and a whole different gig.
I KNOW for a FACT ... that Deuce Daddy Don and I both were at the LA Roadster show ... Maybe you mean the roadster show that was this past weekend ( the Grand National Roadster show ... a completely different event )
