That's very nice. Those coupes are a big part of the history of hot rodding. If you look in any detail of old salt flat pics from the day you will see them used as the primary transportation or even as push cars.
I also have a 46 business coupe. Mine is a super deluxe and is in nowhere near as nice a shape as yours. The short door coupes are a lot harder to find than the 6 p*** or club/sedan coupes are. Are you still using the stock trans and rear as well? I have a rebuilt 8cm in mine, but I'm going with a t 5 and an 8" rear on parallel leaves. There is a club for the fat fender guys too. Matt
Nice. I don't really see many 46-48 coupes any more. But they're my favorite. just saw one on craigslist for $8000. Red with primer spots, all original with running and driving flathead! It was the essence of "old school"
Just started the resto of my 47. I love what you have done to yours so far. All I have done to mine so far is the frame. Getting started on the body next week.
