It's actually still sitting there. It's covered with a couple feet of snow now, so it will have to wait until spring to get it. I kind of forgot all about that car.
Just had a 32 Plymouth in here a couple months ago. Raisin pie for all who got it right. It looks like it has the makings of a nasty drag racer or a dirt track vintage build. Restoration parts alone would be more than the value of a perfect original.
How could you forget about it? <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

...here's a 32 DeSoto for comparison...I've heard 32 Plymouth PB /DeSoto bodies are the same, maybe dash guages are different, anyone know for sure? ...this did orig. have a split windshield, a center divider on a flat windshield.
My friend in hi school had a original 32 DeSoto it had a split windshield like the 32 Chrysler and wood spoked wheels.
I woulda had a stroke thinking about it if I didnt go get it in just a day or two, but then thats just me AND EVERYBODY ELSE.
That body would be frozen to the ground now and if is sunk in it wont budge till the frost is out of the ground.Maybe in May it could be rescued.
It's identicle to my 32 plymouth Pb 3 window coupe. same dash and gauge. It's not a chrysler and desotos had the split front windshield frame. SAVE IT !!!!!!!!!!
Am I the only one who would have posted the pictures saying "look what I found" after it was home in my own yard? It's a '32, and a coupe - '32 anything is good, coupe anything is usually good; both together is always good. The top and both doors are there - someone would build that car. If someone wanted to go more or less original, all you need is a halfway decent 4-door to donate the ch***is, front clip, fenders, floors, and cut patches for the bottom 1/3 of it out of the body shell. Or a custom frame and just round up a grille. Whatever. It's got to be worth a case of beer to get a couple buddys to help stick it on some kind of trailer and tow out behind the ATV.
It's a 32 Plymouth or De Soto. They have two vents. I own one (DE Soto) and Ifilled the vents. The two bodies are identical. Considering there were a lot more Plymouths then De Sotos made, I'd say it was probably Plymouth. Another tip off might be the windshield. Chrysler had a split windshield. The rear quarter panel on the side we can see looks pretty rough even for the metal experts on this board. Other side is covered so it might be worse. There is however, a lot of 32 Mopar stuff still around so you might be able to save it.
