i got the car running last night, after about 1 whole can of starting fluid and a new battery. Tonight i changed the oil and filter, and put new plugs in it and took it for a spin. It shifted well, the clutch has a little chatter but not a big deal. Suprisingly the stock flathead had more pickup than i thought it would. Ran smooth too! Anyway, i do have one concern. I havent been around a lot of flatheads so i dont know if its the norm or not. The valve train is really "chatty". kind of sounds like "chicka chicka chicka chicka chicka chicka? Not a tap, but just chatter, is this normal or do i have valve issues? thanks guys!
