After all this trouble I hope each of you know someone that can properly tune them so they are running top notch. Would hate to see the flattie get beat due to poor timing or carb issues. While your at it lose the seats, jack, spare tire, and dingle balls to cut back on weight.

 

They will be running right. We dont have any of the above mentioned in our cars except for the rear seat and im a skinny fellow so maybe dan can take of his bumpers or something to be even.haha GFY Dan

ok, so last night we were wrechin on our cars pretty late (or should I say Travis was wrechin on our cars. Thanks for leaf change out Travis) When travis wanted to take a run around the block in our cars.. so we do.. i turn the corner and nail it.. he turns the corner and nails it, this happens a couple of times.. then knowing we are deep in the getto of simi valley.. I turn the corner and swing wide into the other lane and stop.. Travis pulls up next to me..hun looks like a race!! Although we only have 50 yards until a stop sign and the mother of all dips, we decided to see a little of what our cars can do..A couple of revs between us and were off.. I get the jump on him. Both of us were spinning one tire thru first.. No time to shift.. Travis hits the brakes and hangs a right back into our driveway.. I hit the stop sign and make a u-turn then back into the driveway.. Hop out and sure enough a cop!!! Damn.. We started woundering aounrd the driveway like fools pretending these were not our cars..he pulled out of the Fire station a half block down were he must have been sitting the whole time .. he sat there for a minute and then went the other way.. Thank god. I sure as hell didn't need that.... as for the race, man it was close for those few seconds.. stay turned.. more to come!

I got my car running later than expected and it still needs some stuff done to make it run perfect enough to beat dan. Hopefully the race will be this next month. I need to make new car linkage and mess with my jetting and distributor some more.
