how the hell do ya get banned?

not saying I want to get banned, but, how can someone on here (other than bots etc) get banned? just have seen a few people with banned under their name. is it like posting something about rat rods 3x and your out or what?

Hack into someone's else's PM's will get you banned real quick around here. Also, taking money from someone and not sending them the part.

 

There's been a "rash" of people lately who think they're going to bull doze their way in here and start crap, make a name for themselves, and we're just going to let it happen.

It doesn't work like that. Use more than your fair share of our time and it becomes easier to ban you than deal with it.

It happens more every winter. People get stir crazy...

 

Curious? When some one is banned do you guys in most cases delete the post that caused the banishment? I some times as a curious fool will see a person banned and of course want to see what they might have come along with to get themselves in this predicament. Thanks.

 

It varies. Typically, the events leading up occur via PM.

 

well just goes to show.. don't be a jackass, in life, and on the hamb yeah I can see some one gettin all butthurt and lashing out via PM's.

 

Your best bet is not to drink and HAMB AND if you have to ask yourself whether you should you post the reply you just made or not then it's usally better just to delete your post and error on the side of caution.

 

lotta people that shoulda been banned and havent,which shows the retraint of the Mods......not sure how they handle the BS

I remember one case where some guy started some smack talk and Ryan told him to cool his jets and warned him if he kept it up and in his very next reply was I dare you,,guess what happened?

Just goes to show you stupidity can get you banned. HRP
