It has been quite a while since I posted an update on my car...so here goes.

first here is a pic from 02 showing what the car looked like.

and here is the latest side pic of the car (need to take a new one this weekend)

A lot has been going on with the car but money is really tight now...I have a new girlfriend and I am moving into a more expensive (nicer house with a garage/work space).

recently the car has been to the gl*** shop (Dave's Gl*** Shop in Taft, CA). He put in all the new gl*** and did a great job.

I then called up the Bumper Shop in LA and had my bumpers chromed. They had a rear one on the truck when I dropped mine off and they delivered the front bumper to the March Meets for me. Here is a pic of the rear bumper on the car.

I wanted to get the grill re-chromed but I can't afford that right now so I have been sanding on it like a mad man and I am painting it black until I can afford to have it chromed.
I did pull the teeth off and they polished up nicely. I will be putting them back on. I don't have any pics of the grill just yet. I will take some on Friday.

I also have a front splash pan coming in the mail today or wednesday...I can't wait to get the grill/splash pan and front bumper on!

I also...was still getting water in the oil :( (cracked block). I bought some block seal (liquid gl*** stuff) and followed the instructions on it and I think (knocking on wood) that it worked! I really don't want to deal with having to get a new engine as money is tight.

Next up on the car is going to be getting the inside done. I think I have enough money saved for it but I am not sure.

Thanks and I looked at a chrome place in Bakersfield and I can't remember the price...blacked out and hit my head!

The Bumper Shop in LA was 260 per bumper.

I wish I could make that kind of transformation!!!! 1% of the work is me...99% is other people (hired hands/friends)...heck me taking credit for 1% is a stretch :)

I am more of a project manager on my car :) which in itself is not an easy task! lots of stress.

And I did learn a TON too...and my next project I hope will be 50% my work.
