Hey guys finally got pics that I could post on here. A little history of the car first, bought new in 1951 by my great uncle in Hendersonville NC. Paid for with silver dollars, so the story goes. He backed it into a rock wall the day he brought it home and got both tail lights and the bumper :(. Drove it through a peach orchard until he gave it to his nephew who drove it until 74. Then he parked it because "it wouldn't shift right, it gets hung up going from second to third." Bent the linkage a hair and now it shifts just fine. Fast forward to now, I gained possesion and pulled it out of the shed and commenced to trying to fix it. I did put a battery charger on the old 6 volt that was in it and after about 30 min, i noticed the hood ornament was glowing, apperently he parked it with the lights on!!! Enjoy the pics. Tips and advice are welcome

You have a nice start on a Pontiac, that car will make a good driver, very comfortable cruiser.

Its awesome that the car has been in the family that long. I like the hood ornaments on Pontiac's. Does the Indian head still light up? Keep us updated.
