Fuel cells

Is anyone else still running the foam inside there fuel cells??

I just put a cell off craigslist in the trunk of my 51. It has foam in it. Like 3 pieces. Does it make a difference with or without?

 

I'm trying to find out the something my sending unit can't work with all the foam in my tank.

take the foam out, eventually it breaks down and will cause you all sorts of issues, it also will hold any remenants of bad gas or moisture that you may get in the cell out now!!!!!!!!
