My man if you can't see the amount of work in that car because you can't see past the wheels you've got bigger issues. True those 20 somethings aren't HAMB friendly but I know this car well. It's damn near flawless with more Kustom touch's than any 61-63 Bird you'll ever see.

The dude asked for pictures of black cars with orange wheels. Twentgallons put one of his up. What do you have to offer????

Mine were orange when I brought the car home. I was not into them, so...

Now I scored some bias-ply whitewalls, so they're going on. Black wins, everytime.

I prefer Ryan's 39 with the black on black and like orange wheels with red/brown oxide or cordoba gray/fawn. Just my opinion.

I agree that the car is absolutely beautiful. Except for the wheels. Those wheels are as out of place as a huge **** on the Venus De milo

The nice thing is that it would be easily fixed.

Here's mine photoshoped (40ply). For all you haters out there, I was thinking about integrating the wheels with my sbc orange engine. I guess I should just put some red rims on it and be like everyone else...

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I am painting my new rims (Wheel Vintiques steelies) "Sea Foam" green, for my '29!

And I could give a r@ts @ss what anybody thinks!

I think the orange wheels look great! And could possibly become my second choice. I like the idea of "Chevy engine orange" to match my 327.

That would be great to drive to a Cincinnati Bengals game. The team stinks but at least there would be a cool car sporting the team colors :)

I'm with Deuces- I have no problem with orange wheels. Most of the cars pictured here have been pretty darned cool. And that T Bird is stunningly beautiful, if you can manage to look away from the wheels on it.

I do not know about most people here on HAMB, but I have two things to say to Casey Customs, If you cannot say anything positive then do not say anything at all,

    second,
This car with THOSE wheels on it is good enough for Gene Winfield to give it his personal first place award (and a request that it be at his up coming meet at his shop)....at one of this years SEMA pre shows in Las Vegas, so as far as I am concerned, One Gene Winfield Award is much better than any 30 ***hole remarks made by others.

thank you for the compliment on the Bird. And I understand that some people do not like the wheels. just a personal choice, as we all do on our cars.

Yea--me too. I wanted something to contrast the black but didn't want red---looked good to me.

How about black with orange window surrounds/dash? These are of my 48 Plymouth the day I got it home. Took me about 1 day to sand them down and paint them gray.
