How many of you have it? Is it still availible? The Mox Miller thread got me thinking about this video,I watch mine at least once a year. Hemi powered roadster driven across the dry lakes by 16 year old Billy Ganahl; video of the "move out" at the Oakland Roadster show; Danny Gatton's guitar rocking out in the back ground; I'm still a Gatton fan because of this video. RIP,Danny. That orange '34 3 window highboy carving out the canyon road....."I'm gonna let it age gracefully." Mox's interview with him uncovering the '58 and pushing it out into the sunlight...... Man,what a great video..... I always wished he'd make another one or more. I'll bet it was a lot of work and who knows how many he sold???? There;s got to be a reason why he never made anymore.
I have it, its terriffic! I'm still patiently waiting for Hotrod Video # 2. But it looks like its never going to happen. Looks like Pat was once again ahead of his time on this video stuff. Too bad.
Yep, I treasure mine. NO loans. It certainly has "his" style; there's not a bad part in it. Wish I could convert it to DVD; any tips?
I have a copy and I enjoyed it, as I have enjoyed almost all of his work. I saw him at the TRJ booth at SEMA years ago and asked if there would be a #2. I don't recall his exact words, but it had clearly not sold in the volume he'd expected, and he had no intention of doing it again.
That's too bad. I figured it had to be something like that. I can't beleive he didn't sell a million of them.
Is there anyone who has it, and also have the technical means to copy it to dvd? I'd definitely buy one if that would be the case. I've heard about this video for so long, and I'd reeeeeally like to see if it lives up to its reputation.
I've got this one too, wish Pat could be convinced to do another. Speaking of old videos anyone know about one that Craig Stecyk did on hot rods? He was the guy who made the dogtown crew famous. I'm pretty sure he made hot rod or custom video, maybe for Boyd Anybody know anything about it? Doc
I read about this in an old TRJ a while back and have been looking for one also, if anyone knows where to get them (or one....) I'd appreciate it. .
YES, I will never let mine go.....it was a fantastic video.......wish he would do another, hate that the numbers on the original bummed him. I would think if he did another and let us here on the HAMB know of it, he would have his "hit video"!
is this an ''authorized'' seller? i ain't sending money unless the man's getting paid. doesn't anybody have pat's number so we can find out if this is still (legitimately) available?
Bought mine at Garlits' Museum along time ago, I'm going to put on a dvd to preserve it. Awsome video if you can find it, buy it, you won't be disappointed!
Guys, Mr Ganhal put a lot of his sweat and time into creating this video. I think if you can't reach him I would try to find an authorized vendor who has the tape. If not any other option is basically illegal. Dave
