I got a friend with a beach house in New Jersey. About 5 years ago I droped by for a visit, had a little too much to drink, and spent the night. Next morning I look out and it's raining on the beach, but the back yard had 3 inches of snow... First time I had ever seen anything like that. Not a single snowflake on the ground from the water line to about 200 feet inland, but after that 200 foot barrier of warm ocean air, the snow was comming down hard.

Guy who owned the house told me that was normal.
