Mexican Blanket Question

    I have some mexican blankets that I brought home with me from when I lived in Mexico. I'm sending myself a PM so later I can dig them out and snap you some pics and get you some measurements.

    Actually a lot of what you see in cars as Mexican blankets are actually Navajo or South Western blankets.

    Thanks Charlie and ******. I made these out of something called double weave. They actually are twice a standard thickness. It is roughly a worsted weight yarn so it is pretty thick. The acrylic should last a while but I'm thinking that inserts will be what I'll focus on in the future.

    The mohair/wool blend that we use is pretty strong. It is usually 30/70 ratio but I can go up. The old "mohair" interiors came from the goat hair not that long ago and those wore pretty well!

    You can get a pretty good selection of these mexican se**** blankets at http://www.elchamaco.com/. They also have them all over Amazon and ebay.
