Praying for you and your family. I've been there. My mother died in November 2008. She was 86. The stroke she suffered five months earlier was her first major illness, so we were blessed to have her so long.
So sorry for your loss, it's never easy. I watched my dad suffer for a year, and as hard as it was to lose him, I was relieved when he passed because I knew he was finally at peace. Thoughts and prayers sent.....
You are a good son to be there when she needed some one by her side. Honor thy mother and father... it does not say they have to be here to do that. My prayers go out to you and yours.

very sorry my friend! when i lost my parents a few years ago a friend wrote me and said simply that she was no longer sick, and no longer in pain, and that you WILL see her again... to me that was a comforting thought and i hope it helps you too. dave
