An old guy: I used to have one just like that... but it was a Dodge.. and the color was different... and it was a station wagon... maybe it was actually a Datsun.
I don't know why you're all laughing. I could pull $100s out of that car. I bet there's lots of parts still usable and often these cars have better transmissions and axles and steering boxes than cars which have been driven for 50 years. I just dismantled a similar condition '46 Ford which had been sitting outside since before 1960 and pulled loads of great parts, in fact enough to build a nice hot rod out of. Low mileage 59A flathead - complete, immaculate side shifter transmission, immaculate steering column and shifter and a clean X-member. Oh and four rust free working lever arm shocks. That's all money. (Oh and an immaculate Super Deluxe grey radio blanking plate fell out when I rolled her over!). Not to mention a set of juice brakes, front axle, spindles etc. Would have cost me thousands to buy all that stuff! I also only paid $50 for it. Ed
Lowrider conversion started. Barris(or insert your favorite car builder, movie star or ahtlete here) personal car. low mileage.
Seen this 5 hours ago and thought it was about a parking lot door ding and the guy that made the boo boo said that famous line. So a double LMAO.
Like they are constantly saying at the B-J auction re. parts "If it's not ON the car, at least it's WITH the car for the new owner to reinstall"
was once owned by a "famous local customizer" was building into a cameo but time and health have forced sale......15K$ or will trade for reliable daily driver like a 2001 Toyota corolla.
