    I wish I had neighbors who threw out stuff like that. I think most of mine could star on an episode of Hoarders.

    ummm no it will be up in my garage...i cant imagine cutting up a sign to make a floor just not for me

    Baste it with mol***es to derust it, then give it a coat of wax, great find.

    You wouldn't have to cut it, just fold the edges up and pop rivet it down.

    Damn-the only good thing I've found recently is a couple of milk crates for all my spare parts. Nice find!

    I've used mol***as to clean up lots of bits, helps to neutralise it with 'mild' alkaline solution, stops it from rusting up again.

    i fealt the same way ahile ago but now i have pulled all stops i stop at every house i think may have stuff i frequent the s**** yars cause people are trashing all kinds of stuff in this **** economy

    Buddy of mine is a garbage man and a car guy. Last year he brought me a mint 57 chevy fender that some one threw out or someones wife threw out, cant be too proud, find cool stuff that the oblivious dont appriceiate

    The mol***es does work, I made a bucket full of 1/3 mol***es to 2/3 water, put some model parts in there 2 weeks later and it was pure rust free with a coating that prevents rust. I found an old combination wrench with Ford script on it, been kicking around for 5 years since I did it and not one bit of rust on it.

    The "R-Word" can be used in a sarcastic fashion by experienced HAMBers only.

    That's a pretty decent find! I'd hang it up in my garage!
