Anyone have pics of burgundy/maroon cars with painted wheels that aren't body colored? Thinkin white or cream maybe. Or anything else?

  2. No pictures to post, sorry.

Cream works much better than white when used with burgundy or maroon. I think that a cream bordering on a light, light tan would be the color I would go with. White is too much of a clash with the body color.

Plus, if you decide to have the body pinstriped, you could go with the cream color and maybe a little black and really set it off.

I picked up 2 different cheap colors and tried them on the wheels to see what it looked like. 1 was a cream/tan, the other is a grey. I liked the grey better. Sorry no pictures.

I'm old old fart, so I like old school. Hard to beat chrome wheels with baby moons.

what I'm doin is trying to decided what to do on my 41 chevy town sedan. I want to run stock caps and ribbed rings. I still need to decide on wheel color and narrow or wide white. This car is goin to be ran as a stocker as it is just to clean to modify. But I figured wheels I had a little freedom on.
