Lots of slicing and dicing to get that shape. I just hope it doesn't get mistaken for a fibergl*** car and get ignored. I have a habit of just walking past cars like this:

I alway appreciate any metalwork. This looks well thought out.
But, I too say the shape reminds me of the plastic fantastic 37's. I'd prefer to see that particular sheet metal used for a more traditional stance and form.
    I still applaud your talent.

I like the look & if you get it to sound like a GT40 nobody will mistake it for a goldchain rod they will know it's a real serious hot rod !!! can't wait to see this finished !!

One of my biggest fears was to end up looking gl***. I am doing alot to keep it looking steel. Keeping the front window functional (crank out) keeping the B pillar, I chopped it alot but did what I thought looked like a steel coupe and not either a custom or gl*** type car lines. Lots of louvers also, including the quarters in front of the rear tires that will be functional for intake air coming through the intercoolers and venting out the rear.

Just like most cars people who know will get it. People who only notice fancy paint will walk right by.....

Well it won't sound like a real GT since I am running a Chevy in it.... and turbos.... and dual 5" straight exhaust

But it will definitely sound nasty.

Hey fellas... we focus on traditional cars here... However, this thing would be groovy on dogfightmag.com.
