Don't know the bands yet but at the car show in the daytime and at the club at night , they are always great.
...but Steve is as much a music guy as he is a car guy, so that's why he has the best band bookings in the car show world.
You won't be disappointed. I'm going a week early to catch the South by Southwest Music Showcase the previous weekend...1900 bands of all genre.
I am excited about the event, as always the music lineup will be top notch. Yeah, I am going for the rides but the tunes are a major part of the entire event, The Kontenintals are all about the music and of course El-Jeffe owning the Continental Club is a super plus, he only does the coolest. You might wanna let the Kontinentals know that so they can edit the roundup website "Its now a huge car show with amazing rides driven here from all over the country, and attracts visitors from all over the world. Its a killer live music festival, its some seriously talented artists, pinstripers & unique shopping, its great food and cold drinks, its folks and friends and families getting together for a special Texas-sized weekend."
Myself and a buddy are thinking about flying down for a couple days, depending on how last-minute seat sales look.
The Roundup was absolutely fantastic last year. As a bonus you get all of the great people/food/music/nightlife that Austin, Tx has to offer and it's a win win situation!!! There is a block of rooms reserved at the Embassy Suites on South Congress avenue for $139 a night (there is a thread about it somewhere around here). Less than 1/2 a mile walk to the Continental Club and all of the night time cruising that's going on. You won't be disappointed!
