Hello everyone, Whitney from south Mississippi I have been lurking for a while and really like this place! I have been in love with hotrods since I started helping my dad wrench on his 1967 Mustang when I was 5-6 years old. My current projects mostly on the back burner due to the gulf oil spill causing my budget to be down. I have a 46 Ford truck going the rat way but with a twist hoping to use a cummins 6BT/NV 4500 trans combo and a frankland quick change from a dirt car. A 1955 F-100 with a 406 FE/Toploader. A 1966 F-100 going to be a 428/Toploader. And a bunch of FOX Mustangs from 79-93. And last but not least my dad's 1967 S-code fastback with a 454 inch medium riser. I LOVE Ford FE's I will try to put one in anything that they will fit or can make fit.
Welcome to the H.A.M.B. from Nor Cal and the Cam-Snappers Hot Rod Club! Check out the club group! Love to have ya! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/g...hp?groupid=619
Welcome from the great white north.Have fun but stay away from RATS!!! They spread #%*# and make you sick.
You are about the 10th person who has asked me that. I have heard the name a lot but never met him. I almost could swear I have heard his name called over the P.A. at gulfport before though. Do you know if they still have the new orleans ford performance association meets at Gulfport any more?
I think they run the Ford verses Chevy meets at Gulfport. John lives up off Menge Ave grey hair and beard 225lbs usually has blue late model Ford f150 with parts for sale at the Gulfport swap meets. I've been trying to get him on here and the Comet site for over a year but he's afraid of the computer I think LOL.How far south are you Gulfport, Hattiesburg? I haven't seen your Mustang at the track I know I would have remembered it.
