went to swap meet looking for parts for 47 chevy truck project. I did not find anything .but my girl friend bought this.
i have a 37 2 door sedan thats all apart....i just started the sub-frame and put a rear end under it. could possibly sell if i was persuaded.
I am also a 39 sedan lover . Personally think they look much better than 39 coupes. Love my 39!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw it there it has great potential. I believe it has a GM subframe under the front. I agree change out the wheels.
girlfriend drove it home monday .spent next day goin over closer.car is better than I thought when I first looked.most every thing works ,very litle rust.needs tune up ,fluids change check brakes,belts ,hoses, fix heater,(she about froze) etc. then drive the wheels off it.I agree wheels gota go !! have a set of ET mags or centerlines I could bolt on. we are thinkin wire wheels maybe.what ya think ? no white walls!! found some plaques in car .I think this car was a street rod in mississipi back in 79or 80. anyone recognize it ?
Roll on!! Lookin' great! I'd put some running boards back on it, maybe hide the turn signals behind the fender grille openings...I put some LED lights there in mine. Can't see 'em til you hit the four way flashers or turn signals.
