Nice work, you gonna put some 2 door doors on it or leave the shorty doors? Sent from my iPhone 5 using TJJ
thats a great idea to use the longer doors , i wanted to eventually slant the b pillars anyway so that we be perfect time to do both. Anybody out there have some doors for sale haha..
Caddy motor is awesome, but I have to think that thing is going to get awful hot, especially in the summer. I've been there and done that. Even with 2 fans and the bigger radiator, I'd be willing to bet that thing will get real hot when you're stuck in traffic on the LIE in the middle of July
yeah we shall see motor came in the car so i havent run in summer yet , runs very well so far but if need be we have plenty of spare options just collecting dust
Ok we got the last of the old garbage wiring out of the engine compartment and plugged up all the holes on the fire wall .Then it was time for some new one piece steel lines for the fuel, transmission , and oil pressure gauge . Also made up a new set of longer spark plug wires to clear the new bigger valve covers. Lastly we mounted and balance some fresh WWW for the front , Once again it is great to have a Coats 40-40A Tire Change and an Accuturn 5500 Wheel Balancer right in your ba*****t clean mount balance final
Really nice work there, looks like you even have a brake lathe in your ba*****t as well.Dang how big is your ba*****t...?
So yesterday while working on the car there was one piece of metal trim left on the car right under the windshield that holds the wipers in place. This piece was bothering me and i wanted to remove it but that is how the wipers mount in the bezel So while i was at work my father machined up some custom bezel to hold the wiper in but still be able to remove the metal trim along the windshield . i have to give it to him he did his magic once again
Well we have gotten most of all the body work done just the tail end left , the rear quarters needed ALOT of work. But time was taken now everything is nice and smooth and all the gaps couldn't be any more perfect !! The original tail light bezels got frenched in today and all the trunk holes have been filled. Even got the original trunk lock back in working order. Not much rat left in this rod !! Seemed like this green would never come to and end but we can see the light now That bumper is on its way out of here shortly!!!!!
lookin cool. im not sure on all the trim gone though cant say I am fellin it yet. I like some trim to break up body lines here and there. but who knows you might make a beliver out of me.
