I'm obviously new to the H.A.M.B but have used it for reference several times before. It sounds like a no-BS kind of thing - I like that. My own truck is '66 GMC with a mild big block 454, 700R4 transmission, power steering and brakes, and it's as low as I can get it without bags (which I don't care for) - low enough to bounce the lower control arms off the pavement every now and then. This is my first rod and I've been at it for about seven years - it took four just to get it on the road. But I still get excited when the garage door comes up and I see its ugly face...
"Bags Are For Groceries".......LOL. Will be in your neck of the woods, the first weekend in April. Welcome from Daytona Beach, FL.
Welcome aboard & nice to meet you. I'll be in your neck of the woods 1st week in April. Looking forward to another Austin visit. I ought to move to that area but I'm in love with the weather here.
Salinas, CA? I was Stationed there in 1974!!! Don't remember much about it...............to scared as a 18 year to get to far off base.....HaHaHa!!!
The Roundup used to be so cool when it was under the trees next to Town Lake... now it's a lot of asphalt - still pretty cool but maybe getting too big for its britches. I'll be cruising South Congress and hangin' around for sure - stop by fire station 6 and say hi.
