Hi,I've been lurking on this site a few times and finally decide to sign -up. I grew up in the 60's ,so you know what I did to alot of nice Mopar mucle cars,BEAT them to death...oh well.I still live on the farm that I grew up on(3rd generation) so I've been breaking and fixing most of my life.I worked 35yrs at G.E. in Erie mostly as a welder/repair person.A few years ago I saw that a guy I worked with had a 41 plymouth coupe on a trailer in his back yard,I asked what he was doing with it and he said nothing,do you want it?I said how much and he said make an offer I told him I would give him a half a beef cow for it and he said to hook on and get it out of here.I've been working on it off and on since, more off than on.I put a 360/727,8 3/4 in it,then decided to put a Dakota front stub under it.Now its sittin off to the side again ,waiting for better weather, hopefully this will be the spring I actually (LEAGALLY) GET IT ON THE ROAD!!!

Welcome aboard from below the border. State line that is. Sure know about ripping up the 60's muscle cars without knowing each would be worth a nice house today. But when you are buying a near perfect 69 Ram air Super Bee with a console pistol grip 4 speed for $600 off the used car lot, who would guess the future? People thought I was nuts in the early 70's with the gas crunch to pay that price. Yeah, kinda off topic for this site, but hard to forget. But I'm sure you know the feeling from the sound of things.......... Keep us posted on your adventures and updates on your progress.....
