Electric-Powered 49-51 Mercury

Someone on here a while back had pics of this car...it was a '49-'51 Merc, but it was electrically powered by a big *** electric motor in the engine compartment. It was a project car. I am looking for the thread...and possible links to websites or more info about the car. I have a buddy at work that was most interrested in this as I was telling him about it.

I did a few searches, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone, anyone?

that guy must be thinkin of the future, gunna be crusin his merc while ours are stuck in the garage collecting dust, oh well dont see use for it now, but if there is no alternative to gasoline i would prolly do the same
