I'm interested in buying this 56 Buick. Guy wants me to "make an offer". I hate doing that cause my offers are always too low and they seem to be offended. I don'r know prices. I am used to 1980's prices where theyre like 400-600. Whats a fair price for this Buick or the 64 Caddy in the next pictures?

    64 Caddy

I have not seen either in person. I want to be prepared to make the deal so I want to be in the ballpark with prices. Looks like the Caddy motors been torn into?

Looks like the caddy motor's in the trunk. With the gl*** gone in the buick, the floors probably gone too. I think your 1980 prices are dead on.

Me, I'd offer $750. on the pair, s**** the Caddy and see if you could save the Buick IF it has any floors left in it.

the hardtop buick should share gl*** with a chevy (cheap) and if these are in eastern WA, floors may be cool.
I am a big fan of the 50s so I would lean toward the Buick

Nope on the Chevy gl***. Olds will exchange in some places, not sure on rear window. Looks to be a Special. Super and Roadmaster are about 2 inches wider. Don't ask me how I know. Expensive lesson.

The Buick is a 2 door hardtop and looks pretty solid. Price would depend on if it has a ***le and if the engine turns or not. If it's locked up and no ***le, $800, if it's got both, $1200, maybe even $1500 if it's really nice, but with a busted windshield I certainly wouldn't go more than that.

The Caddy looks rougher and obviously does not run, $700 for that would be tops for me, even with a ***le. Too nice to s**** as suggested, but it's nothing to get too excited about.

If he wants you to buy both together, offer $1500 for the pair, you could part the Caddy out and get all your money back if you know what you're doing, get the Buick for free for your labor.

I would try for $500 for both. But, I am really cheap.

I don't think your cheap that's what I'd hit them at, although he won't take it. At most $500 ea like they are.

The 56 Buick 2 door post I had was complete, and solid as a rock. Drove on the trailer and gave $900.00 for it.

The cad is nothing but parts, but you can make a little at anything under $500.00

But then I buy a lot of cars....
