OK, sorry about the dumb post before and let me rewrite this now that I'm on my computer and not my IPhone... Does anyone know if the running boards for a Model A 1928-1929 are 44" or 44 1/2" or 44 7/16"? I stretched my roadster 4" in the doors and I'm in the process of ordering smoothie boards, but the gent building them says the original size is 44 7/16 or 48 7/16 including the 4" stretch, but I'm measuring 48" between the fenders of my roadster with the stretch.

Then why not order them 48"? It's not like your doing a restoration.

well, true enough but I want to ensure that I am not pulling the front fenders back or the bootom of the rear fenders forward to compensate if the 7/16" is appropriate. I know that 7/16" doesn't sound like much but it will create problems with fender supports, light bars to fender holes, etc. ... I know this all probably sounds fanatical but....hey.
