Southern rods sells Patriot coated block hugger style headers -----pretty fairly priced. Any opinions/experience with them? BILL RINALDI
I've used about 5 pairs of them and had no problem.. get the ones for angle plugs they give you more plug wire clearance...
I've had two pairs, and my buddies have had several also. Very nice for any price, but really a great price and value! I've got Patriot fenderwell headers on my SBC Austin g***er, and I really like everything about them.
I run a pair of BBC ceramic coated fenderwells. Good quality and contruction, i did run ito a fitment issue where one flange bolt wouldnt go through the flange due to the tube being too tight of a radius.
What exactly was "Junk" about them. If you're going to post a statement like that, how about something that explains your opinion?
Heck, I just put a set of ****** Super Comps on a '56 Chevy and had the same problem. At more than 2x the money!
They are a good header for the money . there has been many sold and they have been around for a while . There will always be good and bad when it comes to headers . That's just the nature of having them fit the first time ! Retro Jim
