Quit the hobby....you don't spend enough time at it.

Got told today I should quit the hobby because I spend too much time working and with my family.
Some people obviously think finding the 'original' parts might take some time and family might be important to some people.
I've built 2 cars which is what I wanted to do over the last 4 years so i thought I was doing good.
Isn't this hobby supposed to be fun?

did this question come from a family member or someone else, if someone else, and you are asking us, maybe you should just quit.......if some other person asked me to quit i`d tell em to kick rocks.........family, would have to work out some sorta deal......

post up the pics of those 2 cars and then let us decide,if they really are 'correct' then you may have no reason to quit,, ...if its that bad then we might be doing you a favor too!

 

a hobby is the bridge between family and work. doesn't matter if it's a foot bridge or the golden gate.

The whole point of my question is simple.
Should this be fun? or should we be thinking nothing but cars?

 

I think nothing but cars, but family and then work comes first. Gotta pay for the hobby some how and theres no replacement for family.

Just tell them to mind their own ******** business,lets see some pics of what you built,maybe they just want your ride for a cheap price.Family first,feeding and taking care of them second (Work) Your toys and hobbies last if time and funds allow .

 

My at***ude as well ! Only 2 cars in 4 years ! Some guys dont get that done in 10 yrs!

I have not always put family before cars. But after a few year I came to the conclusion family was more important cars.The less I care about cars the more fun they become they became a hobby again not a way of life. I am not a slave to the car hobby just mildly addicted.
