Heres another 54 chevy I'm working on for X-GASSER's friend Clay. The work includes a chop top, filled and peaked hood, and filled trim holes.I'll post more has the work comes along.
Be sure to take plenty of pictures! Interesting how you kept the rear window attached, I haven't seen that posted before, I take it you'll just "lean" it to the new roofline??
Lookin good. Hey, I got this 62 Chevrolet airport taxi at the shop. Do you feel like chopping that? Heh, heh.
Dante your reading my mine. I'm a huge fan of the wrap around window on these chops. If you get the time I'd love to see how you handle it T
Post some more pictures. I cant wait to see it done. Clay is Jesse James biggest fan seriously, so do the Jesse follower proud, he he. Choppers for life.....
Btw good way to get Clay out of lurker status Reed! This is all the pics for now I'll post more later.
Looks good. I see the corners of the back glass lay in. I've seen them chopped where the back glass is completely on the outside though. Any one have pics like this?
Here you go Neal! It looks different now than in the pics but you guys will have to wait till the roundup to see it.
Some more pics with a very enthusiastic passenger my five year old nephew. He always wants to ride in uncle Jamie's "hot rides" instead of hot rods.lol
The 54 is looking good, I like the looks with the doorpost straight better that some I've seen slanted. The "T" is way cool! Randy
Thanks for the comments everyone.Yeah T-man it almost the same chop but I'm doing a few things different than I did last time. It's still a 3 inch vertical chop with a sunken and forwarding leaning rear glass so it has a good flowing profile.
lookin sweet,daddyo....wanna drive up to OH to chop my 54 ? seriously,it's awesome..makes me wanna get mine chopped BAD! creepy
