So I yanked the motor again in the old truck. The rear main took a dump. It had full length headers on it which I had painted white. The paint as usual flaked off pretty well. Ive decided to switch to shortys but wanted to have em ceramic coated white this time.
So Ive called all the places around here and No one offers a white ceramic coating not even Jethot. Does anyone know of anyone that does it? I have no problem shipping them to get them done right. Or perhaps a supplier that might carry white? Dan at Jethot said if I can supply the white He'll coat em.
Any help would be great as Im starting to get a little bummed about this.

I'd like a once-and-for-all white coating too. I have a pretty good calling for it from my customer base. So far, nothing has held up over time.

You can get white porcelain coating on headers. I had a set done in black years ago and it does start to spider web crack over time, but it holds up MUCH better than paint.

I'm not going to name the shop, however; I had the zoomies white ceramic coated on my nostalgic drag car. I certainly respect the issue with supercharged race cars and their exhaust tempatures, but the coating did not hold up as it began to flake after a short period of time. By the way, the shop was more than reasonable with their credit for the coating...... Just something to think about.

I have a street driven, supercharged car with the silver/grey ceramic coating, it has just began to flake (very small area) after 12 years....

Actually, I might know of a place. I'll have to dig through my old rolodex to see if I can find it still. But there were a few places I knew of, one in Denver and one in Santa Fe. I'll post back if I find those numbers.
