Not sure what you're asking. Great looking body. Amazing it was still around. Doesn't look like it even needs any patches.

If you look in 1948-52 Hot Rod Mag want ads, people were already desperately looking for Deuce roadsters then.
My theory: They all disappeared in 1933 (I suspect aliens and/or Howard Hughes here) and have been trickling out of the woodwork at a steady rate since. The gods of tin randomly dispense 5 every year--take a number and get in line...

I've got an article in may hotrod 1951 about bonneville, saying that the coupe classes are taking off because no one can find roadsters anymore...

That looks mysteriously like the car that was on ebay a month or so back, had my cursor on the "buy it now" but just couldnt do it sight unseen. Thought that one had a decklid and extra door skins though.

Come on now, you're only teasin, it's not really yours. I see this all the time, post a photo, tell us some bullshit, then don't bother to answer any questions.
Oh, if you really did just " drag it home " then i'm jealous, unless of course you paid $30K. [IMG]

Are we going to have to come over there and talk to you by hand. I hate to have to resort to violence. Tell us the damn story behind that bitch.
I know, you were following an old broken down pickup with a trailer loaded with scrap and you thought you spotted something in the middle of the pile. You pulled around and motioned the driver to pull over. Seems that the two old wino occupants were hauling some scrap to buy some beer, and they found the roadster around back of an old barn a farmer had told them to clean out. They wern't about to let you take advantage of them and made you pay the going rate of $.02/lb for scrap. You did manage to get them to deduct for the tires. Am I close? HAHA!!!

I was definately thinking That it needed 26" BUTTNICKS, a full pro street style tube chassis with 48" wide meats, A sweet teal and fushia paint job with splatter graphics, and don't forget the tweed old style interior!!!!!!!!!

For reals, My friend was selling it and HAD tried E-PAY then decided he wanted to keep it until his house needed some attention. The doors are rough and the decklid is rougher but it is still a duce! The body was made from three bodies so it is like FRANKENBODY but whoo gives a f..uuck! I am going to hold my prommise to myself and turn my wrecked 33 into a salt racer, so all of the salvageable parts will go towards this car. The insurance company butt fucked me on that deal but this car will make it all better. Kina cool don't ya think I sold my T-DAN last week and then my friend calls the day after it sells, it is like a T-DAN for 32 trade!!!

So yes I am still looking for doors and a decklid. It is funny when you try to buy something from a person and they won't budge, and then when all hope is lost a call out of the blue, LUCKY!
