timing an 8ba

    With only one timimg mark on the crank pully,how do I accurately time my 8ba flathead? Thanks for your any help.

    the way i understand it you time it to that mark and thats it. But that just sounds wrong. DO a search theres lots on here about it and making your own timing marks.

    Get a timing light with a dial on the back. Hook it up and note degrees @ idle. Run it up to 2,000 rpm and note degrees change by dialing and stop when mark is right on the bump.
