Just got my seats back from Mexico lastnight, The guys did an awsome job right down the to the pleates.
Dave...your nickname confuses me...using that pic of Bugsy, I'd ***ume you wanted to say DAPPER (finely dressed, well-groomed, poised, etc). Daper is something else of significance to you? tnx dj
WOW still living on the old myths of the past.Do you really honestly think that on recieving the interior from the shop that none of the 4 people that who are of all adult age, with fully functioning noses couldnt smell horse **** in a seat!.Why would a guy who has been doing this since 1965 in the same place go to the trouble of filling a seat with horse ****,a process that would make anyone sick let alone filling these seats with the stuff since 1965.I have taken 5 interiors to this shop and no horse ****,the only horse **** i smell is your post
They look awsome Dave. Can't wait for my seats to get back. We had a blast down there man, you should have been there man. Thanks for showing us around hombre! By the way, have you seen my banana? I think james put it somewhere.
No problem jimmy it was a blast. We will get to go down this week to pick your stuff up.The banana...well it was swallowed..if you know what i mean
Hombres ruin, its obvious you can't tell horse **** from a joke? Didn't you ever see Ferris Beulers Day Off?
Francis: My names Francis, but my friends call me Psycho. Anybody calls me Francis, I'll kill ya. Sgt. Hulka: Lighten up Francis (insert Hombres Ruin) Nice work on the seats tho!
Wait, back it up... What is the story with horse **** in pleats? Is that a real thing, or something made up now?
X2! I always heard donkey ****. (and newspaper; I saw the newspaper when the dogs chewed up my bud Philip's front seat in his T.J. upholstered '40!) But I never woke up and smelled "the roses"... I don't know which shop you took 5 interiors to, but we always used Victory. Of course, that was back in '55-'59.
wow thats a great price. espciall since i know pricing for materiail since i do upholstery jobs on occasion!! did u just give them seat frames?
wow, very nice, but prices must be alot different from central cal to southern cal.....i could get that done here for 700...............
i could have done it for that as well but i do it outta my garage and have no over head!! haha. just suprised for a shop to be doing it for that price u know
i was talking shop prices around here, i get quoted 250 to 400 a bench seat....unless they are leather.........
I bought some pearl white vinyl a while back at a fabric store in Mexicali, MX. It's only a couple bucks a yard there. They even had some zodiac vinyl for the same price. Not sure what it costs in the US, but it seems like when I looked it was a lot more than a couple bucks a yard. Seems like a good quality too.
