Dave...your nickname confuses me...using that pic of Bugsy, I'd ***ume you wanted to say DAPPER (finely dressed, well-groomed, poised, etc). Daper is something else of significance to you?

    tnx

WOW still living on the old myths of the past.Do you really honestly think that on recieving the interior from the shop that none of the 4 people that who are of all adult age, with fully functioning noses couldnt smell horse **** in a seat!.Why would a guy who has been doing this since 1965 in the same place go to the trouble of filling a seat with horse ****,a process that would make anyone sick let alone filling these seats with the stuff since 1965.I have taken 5 interiors to this shop and no horse ****,the only horse **** i smell is your post

Wait, back it up... What is the story with horse **** in pleats? Is that a real thing, or something made up now?

X2! I always heard donkey ****. (and newspaper; I saw the newspaper when the dogs chewed up my bud Philip's front seat in his T.J. upholstered '40!)
But I never woke up and smelled "the roses"...

I don't know which shop you took 5 interiors to, but we always used Victory.
Of course, that was back in '55-'59.

I bought some pearl white vinyl a while back at a fabric store in Mexicali, MX. It's only a couple bucks a yard there. They even had some zodiac vinyl for the same price. Not sure what it costs in the US, but it seems like when I looked it was a lot more than a couple bucks a yard. Seems like a good quality too.
