It's interesting that he chose to rebuild the roof 1st. I think I would have got the quarter on, doors hung and aligned, then tackled the roof. Many ways to skin a cat....or sedan.

If there is a will there is a way! Go for it.Its only sheet metal. At least you have the other side to copy.A bunch of cardboard templates laying on the floor after it is done and you will be back in business.Any good fabricator can rool out new panels.Steves restoration builds some awesome panels for these.I have used them,Top quality.

Keep us updated!! This is cool stuff. At this rate - he will have his Sedan on the road before my '33 gets on the road. I'd better get on it!! Thanks for sharing Chris. :)

The more of his work I see, the more I am convinced that Jim Sibley is the Chuck Norris of body work.

He doesn't fix rust, he lights his torch, and the panel reshapes itself out of respect and fear. :D

He is going to have a challenge getting those door gaps and alignment for sure. But from what you have shown of his work, he will be able to pull it off, I have no doubt.

Wow, true hot rodding it either takes time or money. most people usually have more time than money so fix what you can afford. I cant wait to see how it comes out. very awesome car well worth the effort.

I agree, there must be a body out there that has the right side and is otherwise not repairable. Once he has that, it is all down hill.
Duke on here, says he has a spare quarter.

  29. the 34 is going to be cool when its done and look forward for more updates. What I really want to know is more about this. There needs to be thread on this only so cool.

  30. Not much...Tim has set it aside to work on customers cars (restoring a 1940 Packard limo) and has not done much with it. He says he is gonna get back on it soon...
