Speedy Recovery! We all goof up when we least expect something to happen.... Mines always been grinders meeting nuckles..... I have done it 20 times but always slip up no matter how careful i am.

Thank you it was my own dumb*** fault while were on the subject be careful with you eyes. It only takes a few seconds to put a face shield on something I don't do when grinding or welding I've had some close calls lately

The axle saved my life if not for it that body woulda landed right on my chest and I'm home alone for the next month I didn't have my cell phone either

  12. just be glad it wasn't your head kwmpa. I had a thank god for safety equipment moment today... was cutting some steel for a trailer hitch and the cutting wheel on my grinder caught, busted apart and peppered me with wheel bits, but since i was using my welding hood as a face shield i averted that disaster, and to all the smart ***es yes i had the dark gl*** flipped up... lol

Get better soon!!! I had one today as well....welding an O/T frame together for a guy today....I don't know if he thought my welds wouldn't hold or what, but he grabbed hold of the leaf spring hanger and shook it from side to side real hard...while we were both under the vehicle on the lift!!!...retard! made me nervous for sure...

Bummer. Hope you heal quickly. Good call on the safety gl***es as well. I keep a pair on a hanger near my bench grinder and a full face shield for my hand held grinders.

Sorry you got hurt, and hope you heal quickly. I admire you taking blame for the accident without any lame excuses.

    Her name would be Drusilla!

Seriously though, thanks for the reminder. I've been finding myself taking little chances lately, nothing big, but I need to NOT DO THAT.

    Heal up soon!
