Customs Found a Picture of my car over in Japan

As a was reading todays Jalopy Journal post it reminded me that I did find my old chevy in a recent pic posted here on the HAMB. A gentleman from Japan posted some pics awhile back for an event over there. As I was going thru his pics I came across the parking lot pic and my old 53 chevy 210 4-door was right there just as it was when it left me that day 3 years ago. Last time I seen it she was loaded on a transport unit with a Range Rover, 2 BMW's and a Mercedes heading out to California then to a cargo hold for a delivery to Japan. I had so much fun with that car. it was cheap, it was paid for. I did little things to it like slamming it to the weeds, frenched taillamps single row louvered hood, split manifold and an Edmunds 2 pot intake. To my son and daughter it was there 1st hotrod and they still talk about the times we had in it. Thought I would share...

That's qiute the journey but it's neat how that worked out!

Pretty cool, it is weird to see them that far away. Here's my old '34 at its new owner's place. Also in Japan...

 

Thats pretty interesting. Nice chevy always like that 53 model.

 

Now there is a car that shows that four doors can be cool!

 

It was a blast to drive and now and then i wish it was still out in the garage....
