I've seen a few runners at swapmeets for $300 - $350 lately, although none at Puyallup today. The Mt Vernon Swapmeet at the Skagit Co Fairgrounds is April 23rd. Monroe is May 14-15. Those would be a good places to look. I'll keep my eyes open for one in the meantime.

That car just keeps getting better looking. I like the fact you are taking it slow and making changes 1 or two at a time. That way you can stop anywhere along the way if you hit a combination that turns your crank. If it were mine I think I'd be stopping for a while and just drive it this summer.

Thanks, I really like the cars that are close to origonal with subtle differences, nothing radical, people who have seen the car that arent real familiar with the A's think its stock, they dont realize the suspension has been dropped over 4", the top chopped 3", 3" shorter wheels, thats the look that I'm after,I think Henry designed some great lines into the A's.
Was planning on driving it as is until the V8 running gear was ready next year or so but like I said the banger is not doing so well, have about 1/2" fore & aft play in the crank & loosing quarts of oil out the rear main all of a sudden, geesh I didnt even get my dual carb intake on it yet, still looking for a running A or B motor in the N.W. on the cheap....anybody......

Looking REALLY nice Uzek. I have to agree with some of the others , the yellow wheels look better. And that PU in the background doesn't look that bad. :D
