I searched and have come up blank. However I am sure there are photos of the very early days of this race spread out all over the hamb. What I was hoping is that we could consolidate all the vintage photos (i.e.50-54) in one spot for our viewing pleasure.

The photo you posted of Hershel p***ing the other care was not taken diuring the race. It was a re-inactment done after the awards ceremony in Mexico City.
I love the panamerica stuff. Love seeing the old '50s sleds as race cars. Some of them are very cool and a good inspiration for a future build!
