No I do not like them on that year, they look better on earlier cars.

Wrong years. I say they look best on 36 to 48s. Stay with the stock wheels and hubcaps or full wheel covers.

I have artillery wheels on my '36. I love 'em, as does everybody else. That said, don't even think about using them on your Chevy. They're the wrong era.

As soon as you find some 4 3/4" pattern 5 lug wheels, please post some pics ...

So from 48 to 49, out of the question?? I know they are the used mostly on the older cars meaning 48 and below. But I dont really care for the stock rims. The hubcaps are nice and I dont really want to go with the wire wheels. I think artillerys look nice with a nice set of white walls on them. The car is going to be riding pretty low so it will blend in with the car. I just cannot find no pics.

So either A those type of rims on that year out of the question or B no one has taken a chance to sport the look.

Maybe you can photoshop the artillerys on your car to give you a idea of how it would look and if you like the look then go for it. Remember that the Artillerys are 6 lug, regardless of the rim size. 49 and up Chevy cars are 5 lug so you would have to go with aftermarket artillerys. Maybe all chrome would look nice.
