I have a set of Cragar Star Wires on my '68 Electra, they cost me $140 WITH tires..... yeah I scored.

Anyway, I have a problem, in order for them to clear the MASSIVE brake drums I had to put 1/8" spacers in and I don't grab enough of the studs to make me feel safe. None of the studs Napa has, has been much longer. I can't find long reach mag nuts.

Any ideas??? They're 1/2-20 studs and I lost the micrometer measurements of the shank, etc. They are knurled only for the first 1/4 inch or so that goes through the hub, then the drum rests on the unknurled shoulder.

Summit Racing. You can get lugs there. I ordered mine threw NAPA. Can't remember how long they are though. I have a 7/16" spacer, and more than enough room on the lugs. The guy at NAPA told me that even going on the stub by 1/4" is just as safe as going on all of the way. The hold won't be any more..

What size are these wheels and do they use the small center cap or the big cap like the wheels on the Ford shown above? I'd like to have a couple 14X 5 or 14X6 that take the big cap.

No, not that... He joined today, no intro post, and his first post was dragging up an old thread asking to buy stuff.

No worries. I clicked this thread because I wanted to know more about wires. I plan to run some with pinner whitewalls on my F100, just got to find a set.
