Anyone ever used floorboard kits from bitchin products ? In particula rtheir 48-52 F1 Ford kit. They have a stock photo on their website but no other real info. I called them but they weren't able to offer a better picture. Are their products decent ? I know I can get re-pro original floor pans but I don't want to go that way.
I used their front floorboard kit and trans tunnel for our 35 coupe and it was great. Just a little bit of trimming here and ther, but they're already beaded, so if you don't have the access to a bead roller then it's helpful. That was about a decade ago, but no complaints.
Thanks guys, it's good to hear they've been around a while. It's the bead rolling I want to avoid, instead of just making a set. I'll also check out direct, thanks Vendetta.
Dave at Direct Sheetmetal is the guy who did all the r&d for Bitichin. Same product, cheaper prices. Both are good companys.
Now that is good to know. He might have some better pictures and info. Might get on the phone tomorrow. Cheers !
Dave is a very good guy... I work with him ALOT, we sell a fair amount of his products. Let me know if you need anything. Take care!
Friend of mine had a Bitchin floor boards kit for his Model A. Their documentation was pretty vague,I never did figure out exactly how it was supposed to go together.
Paul, Bitchen is the floor I put in the 34 ford sedan Im working on. Its an excellent product, fits well, and was informed its thicker than Direct. I'de recommend it!!!. Good luck. ETHER
I have used Bitchen on 46-48 ford floor pans and transmission tunnel without any problems and find there product very good quality.
