I've been doing body and paint work for about 10 years now. I'm starting in on a few projects for myself. I bought a few must have tools for the shop and was wondering if anybody has dealt with some of what I'm looking at. I bought the better set of shrinker/stretchers from Eastwood, the hand operated ones. I was gonna build my own foot operated stand for them. Then I got to looking at the Central Machinery 8" throat one from Harbor Freight. It comes with one body and a set of jaws. It costs $220 where the Eastwood set costs $400. Now granted they're different styles, but I figured if I bought two of the ones from Harbor Freight, I'd have two bodies and a backup set of jaws. I was just wanting to see if anybody has used the Central Machinery ones and how well they work. Should I maybe just hang on to the Eastwood ones or are the Central Mach. ones good also? If anybody has any feedback, I'd surely appreciate it.
