a few cars that have passed thru the yard, the ones i got pictures of.many i didnt.........and i dont know why.
The bullet bird is a convertible even. Good to see that these at least look to be getting picked over before they're crushed, how long do they typically stay in the yard? That '51 Roadmaster has some interesting stainless above the door handles, not sure I've ever seen that on one before.
The GM section is about 2 times larger then the Ford or Mopar sections. The GM section maybe 30-60 days, the other maybe 45. It just depends, when enough cars come in to make a new row,the next row in line is replaced. Reguardless of time on the yard.....i have seen rows last 2-3 weeks. Each row has maybe 20-25 cars. With scrap up, rows are flipping quicker then when it was low.
So, does the pull-a-part antique line work just like the regular cars in the yard as far as pricing? , I have wondered that more than a few times for the fact that they have some really cheap (less than $100.00) for engines , and trannys , is this the same for the oldies?
yes a door off a 49 merc would be the same price as one off a 96 dodge neon. all parts are priced for what they are not what they are from. V8 costs are the same across the board.
